We've seen some early Oppo Find X9 Ultra renders, but this might be the first time that one of the most wanted camera flagships of 2026 shows itself in real-life photos.
It's coming soon
As avid PhoneArena readers already know, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is to be unveiled on April 21.

At first glance, nothing too surprising about this one. The "plus" camera array is here once again. But the Hasselblad logo is missing from the camera island center; instead, it's on the side. Overall, the design is sleek and the accent is on the camera island (naturally).

What captures my attention is these lenses – they seem large (for a phone) and advanced. Usually, cheaper phones come with cameras that look merely like flat circles. On the Find X9 Ultra photo above, however, the lenses appear almost 3D.
What cameras will it offer?
The upcoming Find X9 Ultra will most likely pack the Sony LYT-901 200 MP sensor for its main camera. That's the same sensor that Vivo X300 Ultra owners will soon enjoy – Sony claims that it excels when it comes not only to detail and tone rendering but in sheer dynamic range as well.
We're expecting a 50 MP ultra-wide snapper and two periscope lenses.

The 3x "primary" zoom might come with the 200 MP OmniVision OV52A sensor, while the "secondary" zoom could be using the 50 MP Samsung JN5 sensor for 10x optical zoom.
We're also expecting a 3.2 MP multispectral sensor to handle and provide top-notch color accuracy.
What's the most important camera to you?
What's up with the battery?
None other than the prominent Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station promises a 7,050 mAh capacity battery on the Find X9 Ultra with 100W wired charging capabilities and 50W wireless charging support. Beware! Once you get spoiled by such blazing-fast speeds, you'll find it difficult to go back to the 60W speeds of the Galaxy S26 Ultra (the fastest-charging Galaxy right now).
For reference, the Galaxy S26 Ultra comes with a 5,000 mAh capacity cell. The recently unveiled Vivo X300 Ultra – another super-important flagship in the cameraphones realm – comes with a 6,600 mAh. A difference of 450 mAh is neither great nor negligible; it's down to software optimizations and tricks, but we'll conduct our own PhoneArena tests and we'll let you know in the near future.
The rest of the Find X9 Ultra is pretty standard for a 2026 Android flagship – Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, 6.82-inch AMOLED screen with 2K resolution and a high refresh rate.
