For reference, the Motorola Razr Ultra (2025) was the most expensive flip phone on the market when it came out. Unfortunately, that did slightly undercut its appeal despite all the great things it had going for it.
Motorola is expected to keep the Ultra as a high-end flip phone. So, any price drops are not likely to happen.

Button placement, the side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and the large cover display are all expected to remain as they were on the 2025 model. So, we will likely have something similar to the image above.
Meanwhile, official renders of the device are yet to leak, so we can't be entirely sure how it may look. As we approach the potential release, we may get to see renders leak, so stay tuned.

Motorola’s displays are expected to remain among the best in the foldable space, with 120 Hz refresh rates and excellent brightness. Refinements to the hinge design should also improve the display's durability and make the crease even less visible.
The phone could once again come with an aspect ratio of 22 by 9, which is slightly taller than what we're used to in other phones. This is generally a good thing, but it also can bring some downsides, like black bars when viewing stories on social media, for example.
As a cover screen, we expect a similar one to last year. We may once again get an edge-to-edge 4-inch cover screen. Motorola also makes it seamless and easy to add all your apps and games on the cover screen, unlike the Galaxy Z Flip, for example.

According to rumors, the battery capacity may remain around 4,700 mAh. This is actually already very impressive for a flip phone. Combined with a more efficient Snapdragon chipset, it is safe to assume that the battery life will either remain just as good or even get slightly better.
Some rumors suggest a potential upgrade in the battery size. However, Motorola did bring an upgrade last year (nearly 20%), so it seems more likely that the company will keep the same battery for one more year.
Charging is likely to stay at 68 W wired and 30 W wireless, comfortably outperforming Samsung’s flip phones. Of course, a charger in the box remains unlikely, so you should plan for a compatible USB-C fast charger capable of at least 65 W if you want to make use of the full charging capabilities on the Razr Ultra 2026.
