Samsung Galaxy Express hands-on

High-end smartphones are in abundance right now, as we’re no doubt seeing some stellar ones coming to market soon for AT&T, but if you really don’t need to go high-end, then you should probably check out the Samsung Galaxy Express. Although it’s not going to be taking any share away from Sammy’s current pride and joy, the Galaxy S III, the Galaxy Express is suited for those consumers who are looking for something a bit more modest.

Despite the fact that we’re still in the dark regarding pricing for this device, looking over its specs sheet would deem the Samsung Galaxy Express as a mid-range offering. However, there are numerous features about it that would dictate otherwise. For starters, it’s pretty out of the ordinary finding a mid-ranger to offer a 4.5-inch display, which this one no doubt offers. Beyond that, it’s also packing along 5-megapixel auto-focus camera and a dual-core 1.5GHz processor. Throw in 4G LTE connectivity to the mix, and it seemingly makes this handset something more than a mid-ranger.

Whatever the case, it should undoubtedly complement Samsung’s current lineup for AT&T, which we should note, is stacked to the roof with a wide range of devices.
