Meizu m2 (not m2 Note) on sale now, you can buy it for $130

The Meizu m2 - the 5-inch phone that is unofficially referred to as the Meizu m2 mini (note that this is not the 5.5-inch m2 Note) - is now available to buy for people outside of China via ways of Hong Kong-based international seller PandaWill.com.

While the official starting price for the Meizu m2 in China stands at the shockingly low $96 (599 yuan), third-party resellers usually charge a premium and in the case of the Meizu m2 on PandaWill's store, the price is set at $130, $30 more than the Chinese MSRP.

Nonetheless, this is still the best price to date for the phone that has officially gone on sale in China on August 3rd. The pink and blue versions of the phone are still on pre-sale, but the white and grey ones are available right now (and we do recommend the grey one with its slightly textured soft finish, as opposed to the fingerprint-laden glossy finish on the other colors).

For those who are not following such non-mainstream brands, Meizu is a company with quite the history in device manufacturing, but it has really stepped up its game in the past couple of years and it has started offering its devices in Europe. It's best known for its Flyme custom skin on top of Android - a simplistic affair that can brag about having smooth, lag-free performance.
