Galaxy J7 2017 for China may be one of the four upcoming dual-camera handsets from Samsung

Samsung is jumping on the dual-camera bandwagon big time, it seems. We've been hearing that it is working on its own proprietary dual camera system for a while now, and it even invested big bucks in the Israeli startup Core Photonics that deals exclusively in multiple lens setups for smartphones, but so far it hadn't released even a single handset with more than one camera sensor on the back.

That's about to change abruptly with no less than four dual-camera Samsung handsets in the pipeline, rumors suggest. Starting with the Galaxy C10, C7 2017 and the J7 2017 for the Chinese market, and adding the almighty Note 8, we are about to witness what Samsung can add to the world of dual-camera phones.

Today, another tangential proof that Samsung is outing dual-camera version of the existing Galaxy J7 (2017) has appeared, in the form of spy shots that clearly show the two camera lenses on the back. The phone is said to be destined for the Chinese market, though, where most local brands have already hopped on the dual-camera trend, so Samsung apparently doesn't want to be left behind. As for the rest of the world - well, there's always the Note 8 to look forward to.
