Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 deals to expect:
- Samsung.com: Samsung typically offers trade-in discounts through its official online store. Expect similar incentives for the A37 and A57, such as instant credit toward accessories, free Galaxy Buds FE, or up to $150 off when trading in an older Galaxy A or S-series device. These promotions usually go live within the first week of launch and last through the early retail window.
- T-Mobile (U.S.): Historically, T-Mobile has been quick to offer Galaxy A-series phones at heavily discounted rates through device credits over 24 months. Expect deals such as “free with eligible trade-in” or “half off with a new line.” T-Mobile has also bundled past A-series phones into family plans or Magenta MAX promos.
- AT&T (U.S.):AT&T often runs modest installment discounts or $5/month promo plans for Galaxy A models, especially when tied to unlimited plans. Expect a similar offer for the A37 and A57, along with trade-in credit stacking during launch.
- Verizon (U.S.):Verizon typically promotes Samsung mid-rangers with buy-one-get-one (BOGO) offers or heavy bill credits for switching carriers. The A57, being the higher-end model, could also be offered through Verizon’s “5G Start” or “Unlimited Plus” plans with device credits spread across 36 months.
- Global markets: In Europe and Asia, Samsung’s retail partners like Amazon, Flipkart, and carriers such as Vodafone or Orange are likely to offer early-bird bundles with discounts on Galaxy Buds or storage upgrades. Expect similar pre-order incentives around launch week.

The Galaxy A37 now features Advanced Portrait, which was exclusive to the Galaxy A56. The feature uses AI segmentation and optimizations for skin, hair, and backgrounds. For video, the Galaxy A37 is also getting an upgraded ISP, which should deliver sharper, more vivid HDR video. The device is also getting an improved low-light Nightography thanks to that.
The Galaxy A57, on the other hand, gets a blur-free zooming transitions feature, which is a first on a Galaxy A device. That should allow for smooth switching between main and ultra-wide lenses with no blur, unlike the Galaxy A56. There's also a new low-noise mode for low-light photography scenarios.
Also, on the Galaxy A57, you get faster image taking thanks to a new Shot to Shot feature.
Both devices also get enriched Nightography Video capabilities.

The microSD slot, unfortunately, is gone for good. Samsung removed it from the A36 and A56, and it didn't come back in 2026.

The two phones keep the same design with some small refinements and a thinner frame now for the Galaxy A57.
First off, the camera island on both is now called "Ambient Island" and is translucent for a more elevated look. The Galaxy A57 also features a gradation pad and a mirror printing for a seamless aesthetic.
It's also now slimmer, measuring just 6.9 mm. This is 0.5 mm less than its predecessor, the Galaxy A56. The phone features an aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass Victus Plus for protection. The phone has also become lighter than its predecessor by 19 g (the Galaxy A57 weighs 179 g, while the Galaxy A56 – 198 g).
On the other hand, the Galaxy A37 is 7.4 mm thick and keeps the same dimensions and weight as its predecessor. Both phones feature the signature Galaxy A glossy glass finish.
The Galaxy A57 is available in Awesome Gray, Awesome Navy, Awesome Ice Blue, and Awesome Lilac colors. The Galaxy A37 can be purchased in Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Graygreen, Awesome White, and Awesome Lavender colors.
Both phones feature IP68 for water and dust protection.

Both phones come with 6.7-inch Super AMOLED displays with FHD Plus resolution and 120 Hz refresh rates. The brightness remains unchanged at 1,900 nits peak brightness. The Galaxy A57 is now getting Enhanced Vision Booster for improved outdoor visibility.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy A57 is upgraded with slimmer bezels than its predecessor, which makes the display more immersive and modern-looking.
Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 battery
Samsung is committed to a 5,000 mAh battery, with both the A37 and A57 keeping it. Samsung, as usual with the Galaxy A series, claims an all-day battery life with the two phones.
The improved cooling thanks to a 13% larger vapor chamber on the Galaxy A57 should also help with longer battery life and performance.
Both devices also keep their 45W charging speed, which stands out as an unusual feature for this price segment. That’s the same rate offered on the A36 and A56, and even faster than what you get on some older flagship Galaxy S models.
The mid-tier Samsung phones still don't include wireless charging, though.

*Samsung is yet to confirm the processors the two Galaxy A phones are sporting. Details would probably emerge soon, but these are the expected chips.
Both phones offer sturdy mid-range hardware.
Day-to-day performance should feel smooth, helped by the 120 Hz refresh rate and updated chipsets. The Galaxy A57’s Exynos 1680 should be capable of running heavier games like Genshin Impact at medium to high settings, while the Galaxy A37 will be better suited for casual gaming and lighter workloads.
